All Time Best Paint Colors (with room photos)

I've wanted to write a book about this forever.  Why doesn't Benjamin Moore do a book with rooms painted in all of the colors the company offers? Wouldn't it be a best seller itself, and also help sell a lot of paint?  Or maybe they like that it takes me (and you I suspect!) several tries to get just the right shade. No, I don't want to think that about my favorite paint company.  So, since I will clearly never have time to write a book, I will list my personal picks here. [And I know there are other great paint companies out there, especially Annie Sloan for furniture and cabinets, but I like to stick with what I know for walls, which is Benjamin Moore].

Many of these photos are of my house, but the majority are from DecorPad.  However, I have used every single one of these at home or for clients, which is why I can recommend them without hesitation.  Here goes:

Great pics. Roomvues.com started the first online paint color photo gallery 4 years ago. Just addicted to color!

This group of rooms painted with familiar Ben Moore colors is fantastic. I'm definitely saving it. Only wish I were doing more grown up work to put them to use. Several I've used in past years and others I've agonized over the fan decks, making critical, subtle choices. Thanks!

Another excellent post! This I am bookmarking as we are about to start selecting paint colors and this is a great reference post. I btw, put up a small blurb on my post today about your post on the home resources...thought it was such a good post. Enjoy your Sunday!

You should definitely write this book. Since you know Ben Moore so well, maybe you can help. I want to do some orange, chocolate, and light blue stripes in my son's room. Any suggestions? And if interested, the built-ins on my blog (look under house tour) are Ben Moore Slate Teal.
